Why We Do It

At Zülfi Siyah, our deep connection to the natural world drives everything we do. To give back to the nature that inspires our creations, we have partnered with One Tree Planted (@onetreeplanted). For every piece of jewelry sold, a tree is planted. This initiative reflects our gratitude to the environment and our dedication to fostering growth and renewal. Through this partnership, we aim to contribute to a healthier, more vibrant planet, ensuring that the beauty of nature that inspires our designs continues to flourish in harmony.

How It Works

One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and environmental organizations to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to restore forests that have been degraded by human activities or environmental disasters, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity habitat. Many projects have overlapping objectives that contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

One Tree Planted projects start with a detailed proposal from local partners, reviewed thoroughly before approval. Once approved, planting begins, supported by funding from individuals, businesses, and foundations.

After planting, their Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) team works with reforestation partners to track tree growth and assess the impact on forest health, biodiversity, and local communities.

Donation Process

After every order, we donate one tree per piece sold to support reforestation. Once the donation is made, our customers will receive an email celebrating their contribution to this meaningful effort.
